When exploring strand eight (Science and Technologies) in the National Council for the Social Studies Framework for teaching and learning, I came across this definition of technology. Technology education applications are among the initial to demonstrate an integrated strategy to studying in higher school. A revised definition of technology entrepreneurship is proposed and its distinguishing elements discussed.

This post proposes a general definition that identifies the distinctive characteristics of technology entrepreneurship and describes its hyperlinks with the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, and management. Technologies, as they develop, often follow a pattern known as the technology S-curve. A much better definition of technology entrepreneurship can help boost its overall performance, increase its relevance, and establish it as a genuine domain of inquiry in its own appropriate.
